About me
My name is Michael Wood and I served with 70 (Essex Yeomanry) Signal Squadron from the mid 1990s to 2005. Since leaving the Squadron I have acted as honorary historian to the Essex Yeomanry Association. In parallel I have been a collector of militaria, in particular to the EY. I built this site, and the associated book on collecting EY badges, to try to provide more information on this subject for both badge collectors and historians. I hope the material is of interest to both, and would welcome further information to add to this or to correct any omissions or mistakes made.
